St. Paul's Kindergarten Program

Amanda had a great time preparing for their Kindergarten Program.  She was so excited and tried to keep as much of it a secret as possible.  She did sing a few of the songs around the house but was pretty successfull in keeping it all under wraps.

Sweet Dreams was the name of the program.  Stories and Songs about Bedtime, Moon and Stars.  They did a great job!!

The apple doesn't fall far...

My Mom has a new project.  And some new little friends.  Parakeets!  She has gone bird crazy!!  She had birds when we were little.  A pair of Love Birds and some finches.  I remember helping her cut out the newspaper to put in the bottom of their cages.  She has caught the bird fever again.

This is Polly

This is Bird Island!
Dad Created this great play area for Mom's Birds.  Isn't he handy.  These birds are a little bit spoiled!!  Mom is really enjoying it.  It's fun to see her enjoying it so much.  Plus the Grand kids really enjoy it too!

Hiding in their cage from all the kids.

All the birdies hanging out together.
Do you have a hobby?  Birds? Quilting?  Leave me a comment and tell me about your hobby.  I enjoy hearing about other people's insanity!!

Bunnies go to school

The baby Bunnies went to school yesterday to meet Jacob and Amanda's classmates.  It was a great time.  I think I was as excited as the kids were.  First we met with Amanda's Classroom.  Nothing like hanging out with 24 excited Kindergarteners.

Everybody Squeeze in!!

Look at all the babies!!

My turn, Please!!

Then we had a date with the 3rd and 4th graders.  They were very excited to meet Carmel and her babies also!!

Seriously.... Where does time go?

Some days I just blink my eye and the time is gone.  Before I know it.... it's time to go to bed and get ready to do it all over again.  BUT... I don't WANNA!!  Then I stay up to late and I have a hard time getting up the next day and then I'm tired.  The cycle continues.  Is this being an adult?  If so, stop the bus, I wanna get off!!

But seriously.... Where does time go?  I just realized I hadn't published a post for my poor neglected blog in over 3 weeks.  I can't believe it.  When I started this I didn't really have a set goal other then the obvious.  The more frequent you post the more of a loyal readership you gain.  But this is real life.  Sometimes I should probably just be glad I get a shower every day.

So, here's an update...

The baby bunnies are getting big.  They are little fluff balls with their own little personalities.  I adore them.  They have been so much fun to watch and to take care of.  Amanda walked around last night with one and sang to it and talked to it.  She gave it a tour of the house.  Telling it all these important details about her toys.  She is very gentle with them and it seemed to tolerate it all very well.  They are all females.  I really couldn't tell when they were smaller.  Now I'm pretty certain.  We are keeping two of them and the other two are going to my brother and his family.

I've been very busy with Usborne.  I have participated in several events this Spring.  I am currently working to earn the current challenge that the Home Office is offering us.  I will be going to Convention for FREE!!  This is a prize includes:
  • The Registration Fee - $220.00
  • A Hotel Gift Card - $100.00
  • More Store Gift Card - $50.00 for Logowear
I am very excited about all of this!!  Plus going to convention is amazing!  Talk about a direct IV of motivation!!  It's like a giant ZAP!

The kids have been very busy.  Nick has been a bowling maniac and is eagerly anticipating Baseball.  He has spring fever in a terrible way!!  Jacob has been in heaven with his baby bunnies and is looking forward to summer.  If he only knew how much reading and workbooks we are going to do this summer!!  Ha!

Amanda has been a very busy dancer!!  She has been very involved with Just for Kix this spring.  Here is a video of her competition in St. Cloud.  She did a great job.  Their dance was awarded 3rd place out of 4 teams.  Their team was the youngest by far of the 4 teams!!

Hope you are having a great spring!!  Watch for most updates soon!!
